"This incredible light illuminated within me with the sudden disappearance of the form of my daughter Emily, and this radiance took over the darkness of the loss." - Sherman Dahl
This short video clip on the thoughts of Jacques Lusseyran is amazing.
Lusseyran was an enlightened French author and activist. He was blinded in an accident at the age of 7, a traumatic event that most certainly influenced his teachings. He wrote about his life, including his experience during the war, in his autobiography And There Was Light. This light that he speaks of radiates in all of us. All thought must emanate from this light. What matters is the source and bliss of the light, not the illusion of the manifest world, that brings both pleasure and pain, forever linked in a back-and-forth image that we call life.
