One of the best places for pizza in Vancouver is on Denman Street. 

Stopped for a late dinner after a bike ride and ran into a poet at Olympia Pizza on Denman

His name is Fazil Sultan, and he works at the restaurant. 

He happened to be off work when I arrived, and after meeting each other we walked down to the beach together and enjoyed some talks about life. 

He gave me a book of his poems and they are very good. 

Love this one: 

O God,
hurry up and send us a new flood;
the first was useless 

And this one gets to the truth: 

Between birth and death,
the present devours everything;
the soul soars high and watches time,
while our action weaves the spaces in between 

What an amazing world.
