The Emily Dahl Foundation has written a lot about consciousness, the ultimate enigma. Without mind, there might as well be nothing.

Physicist Edward Witten has been called a "Mysterian". Witten is regarded with awe by his fellow physicists, some of whom have compared him to Einstein and Newton. He is largely responsible for the popularity of string theory over the past several decades. String theory holds that all of nature's forces stem from infinitesimal particles wriggling in a hyperspace consisting of many extra dimensions.

These are not simple concepts but investigation and introspection into the question "Who Am I?" is the direct path to the truth of the way things are. 

This lecture below is a wonderful practice and can lead to deeper meditation and purification.
