Berkshire Hathaway’s annual “Woodstock for Capitalists” was held on May 6th, 2023.  After last year’s attendance was below recent years, it was a packed house on Saturday. Warren Buffett, CEO and Chairman, and Charlie Munger, Vice Chairman, answered questions from shareholders for over five hours. Greg Abel and Ajit Jain joined in answering questions for the first part of the meeting.

It is worth noting that Greg Abel, who is the successor to Buffett, is from Edmonton! 

Take a few moments and listen to what Warren and Charlie said about Love and Happiness twenty years ago to this day. Every bit of it is true, and they have clearly lived their lives in this way and continue to do so. 

Emily Dahl was that kind of person. Everyone loved her and continues do so. Why? Because she was lovable, and she gave us nothing but love. We just simply gave it back. So powerful.
